Igor Singer, MD, FRACP, FACP, FACC, FACA, FHRS

Dr. Igor Singer is an internationally recognized clinician, researcher and professor of medicine who is providing outstanding heart care.

Dr. Singer has been involved in major clinical studies that brought state-of-the-art technology and treatments to the forefront of medicine. He has lectured all over the world and personally participated in training of medical doctors, cardiology specialists and medical students.

Dr. Singer is author of more than 100 peer reviewed manuscripts, abstracts and presentations and has authored widely recognized textbooks in cardiology and cardiac electrophsyiology (study of abnormalities of the rhythm of the heart):

Dr. Singer received his internal medicine training at Sinai Hospital and cardiology training at the Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore. He was Professor of Medicine and Director of Clinical Electrophysiology and Arrhythmia Service at the University of Louisville 1987-2003.

Dr. Singer was appointed as the Executive Medical Director of Cardiovascular Services and the Director of Clinical Research at the Methodist Heart Lung and Vascular Institute  2003-2008 and as the Clinical Professor of Medicine at the University of Illinois.

He organized and directed the Heart Lung and Vascular Institute at the Methodist Hospital in Peoria, Illinois 2003 – 2008.

Dr. Singer founded Advanced Cardiovascular Specialists, PSC in 2008 and currently serves as the President and the CEO.

In 2008 Dr Singer was appointed as the Emeritus Professor of Medicine at the University of Louisville.

Dr. Singer is ABIM Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Diseases and Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology.

He is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP), Fellow of the American Internal Medicine (FACP), American College of Cardiology (FACC), Fellow of the American College of Angiology (FACA) and Fellow of the Heart Rhythm Society (FHRS).

Dr. Singer is widely recognized as an expert in cardiac arrhythmias and cardiology.
